Always be prepared! Research your company,
it's interests and goals and what makes the people there
tick. This may help you decide early on if you will fit
in.
- Remember the interviewers name.
- Take anything
that will help you present well, like a copy
of your CV, and a note pad and pen.
- Make a list of questions you
want to ask, and jot down points raised in
the interview you may want to go back to.
- Don't answer simply yes
or no, explain your answer when possible.
- Never make
unnecessary derogatory comments about your
previous employer.
- Always accentuate your skills.
- ASK questions.
A lack of questions may be mistaken as a lack
of interest.
- Relax,
the interview is not there to deliberately
trip you up, it merely serves as a mechanism to find
out if you fit in and what your strengths and weaknesses
are so try to be honest where possible.
